    Default Soul Exchange exile a creature you control countered do i get creature back magic faq

    say I play a soul exchange and exile a creature and the soul exchange is countered do I get the creature I exiled back?

    No. Exiling a creature is part of the cost to cast Soul Exchange. Just like you don't get any mana back if it's countered, you don't get the creature back either.
