hero of bladehold question Lightmine Field damage to attacking creatures

what happens when there is a Lightmine Field on the battlefield, and a hero of bladehold attacks?

Depends on who controls what. If Lightmine Field is controlled by the defending player, then first the Bladhold's ability goes on the stack, then the Field's. Field resolves first and deals damage to attackers, then Bladehold puts tokens into play.

If the Field and the Hero are controlled by the same palyer, then they can choose the order in which to stack them. They can choose to either do the above, or put the tokens into play then damage attackers.

in the second case, when the lightmine field resolves after the tokens have been put into play, do they take damage? Because I remember sometimes there is a difference between getting put into play attacking and getting declared as attacker

They will take damage. They weren't declared as attackers, but they are still "attacking", and Lightmine just says it deals damage to "attacking creatures".

6/15/2010 How much damage each of those creatures is dealt is based how many creatures are attacking at the time the ability resolves.

Ah, I misread Lightmine Field. I assumed it said "to each attacking creature" rather than "to each of those creatures".
