Wondercon 2009 coverage - Terminator: Salvation - McG Calls Chritian Bale on Cell

Terminator Salvation director McG made a special appearance along with cast members Anton Yelchin (Kyle Reese), Moon Bloodgood (Blair Williams),Common (Barnes) and Bryce Dallas Howard (Kate Connor). They discussed the upcoming movie, showed exclusive footage, and answered questions from the audience

In the following photos, McG tells the audience how Christian Bale never shows up for these kinds of events and calls him on his cell. Some thought that it was actually a trick and that Christian Bale would pop out from behind the curtains. But that didn't happen. He didn't even reach Christian Bale on his cell, instead he got a voicemail (I didn't recognize the voice, it was a female voice). He then pointed the phone at the audience and had them cheer for Christian. Quite a voice mail message.
