Need some homework help :)

How do I find an equation for the line having undefined slope and passing through the point (-5, 9)?

Its impossible without a second point, such as an X or Y intercept.

I don't have another point, this is the only information the question gives

(I missed the class where the teacher showed how to do this I think)

If there's no slope, doesnt it mean a vertical line? So then x= -5 maybe?

If noone else has any other suggestion I'll try going with that... makes some sense so it could be the correct answer

Though wouldn't the vertical line x=5 mean a zero slope but this questions says "undefined" slope?

zero slope is a horizontal line
undefined (aka infinate) slope is vertical
