    I got Evee to transform into Leafeon with all the challenges ahead was that a smart thing to do???

    Good choice! I think leafeon is the best!

    Remember also, with the present generation, that using the Day-care you can breed more Eevees, so you're not stuck with just one.

    I've done just that myself, letting my Eevee into a Leafeon, and it proved to be very helpful for much of the game so far.
    Finally, a new generation of Pokemon for us to enjoy. There is much to look forward to in 2011!
