super nintendo black screen fix

the snes I bought in flea market turns on but screen is black how do i fix it

hmm thats a new one,first step would be to check your connections to the tv. Then thoroughly clean the console. Those things are build like tanks but it could have failed from manufacturer defect or lightning strike etc.

Could it be the cartridge? Try inserting different game cartridges into your snes see if you still get the black screen
