Default moving from casual to competitive magic

I've played casual magic all my life and I decided maybe to try to go competitive but I have no clue where to begin... any advice?

hmm difficult to say because the best way to start competative can greatly varie from person to person, prior expiriance (wich you seem to have in abundance but i can not tell on what level), card pool, amount you wish to invest, level of challange your looking for etc.

usualy a standard friday night magic at a lokal store in the standard (type 2) format is a good place to start or doing some drafts ...

that may however not be what your realy looking for. if you can give me a bit of a more detailed overview of what your expecting, what you want and why you want it i can give you more detailed advice on the subject.
