Troubleshoot digital games on Xbox
If you want to play a downloaded game on your Xbox console, the account that the game was purchased with must be the same account used to sign in to the Xbox service. To check the account used to purchase the game, you need to check your Xbox purchase history.
Please note that to check your purchase history like nearby veg restaurants, you must provide your Microsoft account email address and password. If you don't have this information and need information on how to reset your password, see:
Find your Microsoft account email address
Sign in to your Microsoft account. You may be prompted to enter a security code.
At the top, select Payment & billing > Order history.
For more details, select Details on the transaction.
If you don't have a license for the game you want to play, or if the account you purchased the game with isn't loaded on your Xbox console, the game won't launch. If the game was purchased using your Xbox console account, go to the next step.
