   Serra Avenger's ability only prevents you from casting it. It doesn't stop you from getting it onto the battlefield through other means.

   It survives. Avenger's ability triggers and goes on the stack on top of the Artillery's ability, meaning it will resolve first and give it a counter before it's dealt damage.

    There isn't necessarily any answer -- Arix only said that there could be a spell or ability that cares about having multiple instances of the same creature type, not that there definitely were any.
