    Yep, in fact there's an infinite mana combo based around doing that.

    There's a couple of different ways. You can either reduce the cost of the untap ability (using Power Artifact, or turning it into a creature and using Heartstone or Training Grounds), or use Rings of Brighthearth.
    Fluttershy is best pony.

    You can also use Mana Reflection, it allows the Monolith to tap for 6, instead of 3.
