m12 reprint speculation

Okay, I can't really guess what WotC plans to reprint in core sets or any other set for that matter (I just know Dark Rit won't reprint)... But at mtgsalvation I've been hearing a fuss about lightning bolt not making the reprint list and will not be in m12

Any thoughts on this matter?

And what cards do you think will or will not make that list?

I heard the same and think the same.

Now I also heard a hint of counterspell being in but I'm 99% sure that is wrong. It was just by some people that don't like u control. They wanted mana leak out.

Also I noticed that fog/holy day alternate back and forth between core sets

I think Basic land could be reprinted, but they printed it so much lately maybe they'll take a break this time. :P

On a serious note, I can see Baneslayer Angel staying as there's plenty of removal across many colours.

The Titans should not return. They messed up the meta so much because they are too good and that there's one for every colour. Most other six-drops and some five-drops aren't being played because of the power of the Titan's enter-the-battlefield and attack triggers.

No, slivers won't be in a core set. They're too strong for that.

What is with you wanting to bring the classics back? Isn't that what vintage is for? Dark Rit, not coming back. Slivers, probably won't come back for a long time. There are just certain things you know won't come back.

I noticed this earlier.

Knight Exemplar needs to be reprinted. Knights are being pushed as the White Tribe in this standard and for them to stick around until Scars Block rotates out, their lord needs to stay.

I also have a Knight deck and I'd like it to be competitive for over a year and not just die out in October.

The PW's I think they all should be revamped and that JTMS should just become a core set walker. I think that the Lorwyn PW's are just to MEH!

So my speculation is at least BSA and probably the Knight Lord just because I agree that they are pushing that tribe atm.

Oh an please bring back the old Elspeth she was way better than the current!

I don't see how you can compare Serra Angel and BSA. They're on two completely different levels... As for being a staple in white decks... I don't like it, but I have to agree. It most likely will reprint.

Jace, the Meta Sculptor won't be in a core set. He is WAY TOO POWERFUL for that. We don't need M12 to be a Jace Lottery like Worldwake was and force it out of print early, especially since core sets are for beginner players to help learn the game. We will see either Baby Jace or a new core set Jace.

That Duel Deck won't be released until sometime in the Fall, after M12's release. The Spring Duel Deck is Knights Vs. Dragons, set for release April 1st. I highly doubt it'll have an M12 preview. If anything Knights Vs. Dragons might have 'ACTION' previews.

i would like to see 5 new planeswalkers, and no jtms, no bsa, and most definetly NO TITANS, also i hope they keep printing Mana Leak and Lighting Bolt. And bring back Ad Nauseam.

Gideon and Sorin should be interesting in a core set. I really like how Gideon isn't much of a planeswalker with magic and all but more of a warrior. I like it. LIKE it. I'm kind of annoyed with most of the cards that... Mill your deck, halve your life, steal all your creatures. Things like that are kinda boring...

Also, did you add in the picture? If you did then I can't see it... This computer is junk.
