I've watched the movie City of Ember (great movie, has Bill Murray in it with a nice role) and enjoyed it so I want to read the book. Anyone here has read this book and can tell me if it's worth reading after seeing the movie?

I've read the book (and seen the movie) and I can tell you that the Book is a lot better (Though I still enjoyed the movie as well) The City of Ember actually felt more vivid and exciting reading the book, than when watching the movie. It was a great journey through that undergound marvel.
I've seen the movie, will probably pick up the book when I get the chance since I liked the movie and I hear that the book is even better.
