    like if i have Wizard Replica with a +1/+1 counter

    and i am about to block a Arrogant Bloodlord

    can the wizard replica get rid of its +1/+1 counters?

    I hope not. Considering there are probably billions of cards out there, if they suddenly gained sentience, we're screwed.

    But no, you can't choose to make counters fall off.
