Making collecting games..well a game.
Heres a list of 20 games for the DS, you should pick which 5 games will be the most valuable and why. I only picked DS because it is a modern system, and I know 20 games for it. ;)
Bookworm Adventures
GTA Chinatown Wars
Tetris DS
New Super Mario Bros.
Little Red Riding Hood's Zombie BBQ
Trauma Center: Under the knife 2
Final Fantasy 4
Metroid Prime: Hunters
Guitar Hero on tour
Geometry Wars
Tony Hawk Motion
Super Mario RPG 3: Bowser's Inside story
Mario Kart
Zelda: Spirit Tracks
Metal Slug 7
Space Invaders Extreme
Drawn to Life
Resident Evil: deadly silence
Touch the Dead
Moon
Re: Making collecting games..well a game.
ooh I see so like in 20 years we can read this and see if we were right
I pick:
Final Fantasy 4
Metroid Prime: Hunters
Zelda: Spirit Tracks
Mario Kart
Super Mario RPG 3: Bowser's Inside story
Because all these titles/brands have a good history behind them and such games from the brand have been usually steadiy valuable so I think they will be the most valuable in the future (at least from that list)
Re: Making collecting games..well a game.
Heres my 5
Bookworm
Resident Evil
Grand Theft Auto
Final Fantasy 4
Tetris DS
Bookworm is not a very popular game and when it was released on GBA, it was ignored. I don't see why the DS version would do much better.
Resident Evil for DS is unheard of by many because it didn't last thet long. Limited print run + popular series = mucho value.
GTA, despite being a solid game, isn't getting the sales it deserves. I'm guessing that very soon it will be seen on the discount racks in stores.
Final Fantasy 4 is a great game and it is simply gorgeous (it makes me wonder why no other company makes DS games look this good). All FF games end up valuable down the road, and this one is hard to find already.
Tetris DS was an early DS release, so alot less people had one. After this game received an early death, everyone suddenly wanted one, so it was reprinted, but the original can cost you $50 on ebay.
