Dead Space 3 Walkthrough Part 48 – Side Missions: Reaper Barracks (Mess Hall to Completion)

This room has a set of mines in it. It is very easy to deal with thankfully. Just aim for any part of it that the lasers are coming out of and shoot it. It may take a bullet or two to get it right but they will detonate harmless in front of you. Head toward the end of the hallway and a Snow Slasher will break through the vent above. Quickly kill it. Now go through the door to the left leading on.

In this room you have a mesmerizing video, helping to compel the orders that can come through. Head over to the left and around the projector. There is a mine on the ceiling but it is very easy to bypass by going to the left. Now head forward and look on the floor. There is another Key Card that Issac can grab fro the Reaper Officer's room. Still, if you want the loot chest you need to shoot down the mine and go and grab everything inside it. You will find Spare Parts Boxes, Heavy Elite Frame, Rail Accelerator Weapon Part and the Blueprints for the Show Stopper.

With all that gathered head for the other door in this room. Use the Officer's Key to access the room beyond. Here Issac will encounter a number more Creepers and Shamblers. Take them out and then head to the right-hand end of it. Here Issac needs to bypass the door to find  another circuit at the end of it. There are 2 Creepers here but no corpses for them to latch onto. Quickly kill them regardless and then look into the circuit box to claim its contents: +2 Damage, +1 Rate of Fire. Head on back to the room you just came from. From there go through the door to the right. This leads back to the entry way.

The one problem here is that there are now 2 Creepers in the hallway. Kill them quickly and that will be that. From there it is a simple matter of going through the door on the right. This will take you back to Paleontology and you can easily resume the main quest on hand.
