Gear WoW Miniatures rules question: Rejuvenation and Corruption

This came up in a game I played with a friend, and we were'nt sure whats the ruling on it.

So I had a character with Corruption and Rejuvination attached on it.

Rejuvenation says: At the end of ticks 5/10, heal 2 damage from buffed ally.

Corruption says: At the end of ticks 5/10, deal 2 damage to debuffed enemy.

When tick 5 came, that character happened to have only 1 health left. So what happens then, does the corruption apply first (and so he dies) or the Rejuvenation applies first (so he lives), or who gets to choose

The player controlling the character would decide the order of the effects.

So since you control that character, you can decide to apply rejuvenation first and then corruption, or corruption first and then rejuvenation.

It doesn't matter though what order you apply it, as the character will not be destroyed until the wave of effects for that tick is over. So let's say you choose to apply corruption first, landing you at -1 heath. You are not dead yet since you still have to apply the rejuvenation effect, putting you back at 1 health.

Arthas is correct; However, I wanted to add that the order in which you apply the actions can make a difference in certain cases. Let's say your character had a max health of 2 (maybe it's a pet?). Now, if you apply rejuvenation first, it will only take you up to 2 (since that is your maximum health) and then the corruption will be applied brining it down to 0 and the character will die. But, if you apply corruption first, the character will go to -1 then to +1 with rejuvenation, and will stay alive.

Yeah forgot about that, that's a good point. If you are at max health (or close to max) you'd generally want to apply the damaging effects before applying any healing effects, so that none of the healing points get wasted.
