World of Warcraft Miniatures Game Acronyms and Terms

Figured it would be useful, especially for newer players, to have some sort of wow minis dictionary with abbreviations and other terms from the World of Warcraft Miniatures Game.

I'll start with some, feel free to add more.

VPs: Victory Points. You generally score VPs by killing enemy characters and by securing strategic locations. In standard games, the goal is to score VPs equal to your party's combined honor.

Dice rolls:
Failure: A die roll from 1 through 3

Success: A die roll from 4 through 10

Crits: A die roll of 10 (or zero on some dice, or the crit icon on the custom dice) on an attack is considered a crit and will induce an addiitional effect as listed on the characters card.

AOE: Area of Effect. An attack that targets 3 spaces.

Good idea, here are some more:

Action Bar Cards: A card that gives you access to new attacks and abilities.

ABCs: Short for Action Bar Cards.

Spawn Point: The location from which character enters the map on the first turn or after they are removed from the game.

A couple of more terms:

Spawning: A character that is entering play for the first time.

Re-Spawning: A character entering play not for the first time.
