Default Split Magic: The Gathering Forum into Sub-Forums?

Thanks to Twanos for this suggestion:

I was wondering if it would be possible to divide Magic into 3 subforums.
    1) General - for alot of the misc stuff we see now.
    2) Decks - For people to post decks and get advise and help. Also to talk about what is working in their area and just what they are having fin with.
    3) Rules - So we can get people feedback to rules specific question and it will over time build a base for people to easily see the question others are asking without them getting lost in the multitude of misc. threads.
Posted it here for the community to discuss.

Obviously the Magic: The Gathering forum has become increasingly popular and it can be a bit chaotic with all the activity going on, so this might be necessary. There will be more order in the forum, people will know to go to the rules sub-forum for rules, decks sub-forum for deck help, and so on.

On the other hand maybe there are some people here who like it better with everything under 1 forum rather then having to check 3-4 different forums?

Feel free to add your pros and cons and what you think. All members feedback will be taken into account.

Also, you can give suggestions on the different categories for the subforums if they are split. For example general, decks, rules

It is kind of a mess down there

On the other hand, I do like seeing all in 1 forum.

So whatever you guys decide, its fine with me...

I think the category for "Decks" should be instead "Decks/Combos"

sounds good to me. decks is fine as a sub-forum. seriously questions like what are good XXXX combos are slightly silly anyway. phrasing them to something like "plz help with deckbuilding for a combo deck" and then describing what combo you want to run or what kind of combo you are looking for is much more sensible. no one plays a combo without a deck to go with it.

i would however apriciate it if we could have something like a split between casual and competative. most aof the time when deckhelp is requested i dont know what to tell them because they dont say what the deck is supposed to be for ...

so here's what i would do:

    general
    rules
    casual
    competative

i dont think there is much point in splitting competative into formats because we dont have the numbers of competative players to make it worth while.

The Magic forum has been split into the following subforums:

    Learn to Play Magic
    Magic Rules Questions
    MTG Casual
    MTG Deck Building and Combos
    MTG Competitive and Tournaments

And there is the parent (Main) forum which will be used for general magic discussions that do not fit into any of the forums.
