Star Trek Online Vs. Eve Online?

What are the differences and similarities between the new space MMORPG Star Trek Online, and the long running Eve Online?

Well for one Star Trek Online is based on the Star Trek Universe

Also Star Trek Online will have away missions and such youre not just in your ship

And in Star Trek Online you have a crew which I believe you dont in Eve Online (there its like you command the whole ship with your brain or something which is kinda weird)

Am guessing a lot of people will leave eve online to play Star Trek Online. There hasnt been any real big space MMO aside of eve, and now they are going to get their first "competitor". The makers of eve online will have to work extra hard now so that people stay there and still find stuff to do. Lets face it after many years people are going to try something new.

I play eve online and when Star Trek Online comes out I will probably still play both for a while until I decide which I like best
