Was browsing this forum and am curious to know why people collect sports cards? I mean I understand watching sports, but would like to learn the reasons people collect sports cards as well.

Was browsing this forum and am curious to know why people collect sports cards? I mean I understand watching sports, but would like to learn the reasons people collect sports cards as well.
I figure same reason as with other collectibles (like coins, stamps) - as a hobby. And also they are probably sports fans.
