help psp black screen i hear games loading sounds & stuff but psp screen stays black

Something is wrong with my PSP. When I turn it on screen is black even though I hear the games loading and starting up so sounds are working, but screen isnt. what could be the problem? anyone know how I fix this?

If it under warranty, then try to return it, if it is an older model, then it could either be a problem with a firmware update (don't quote me on this, but its possible) or you need to replace the screen.

while a game is playing, shine a flash light into your screen and see it there is display or not.

- Shined a flashlight into it but saw nothing still black screen

Ok sounds like the screens power inverter has died. If it has one, I'm versed in PSP repair. The reason for the flashlight was to see if just the backlight had died. (It it had you would see things .) But it seems possible to get a replacement screen for certain models.

Such as

Hopefully someone else more experience can help out.
