How much is the Sega Genesis game Castlevania: Bloodlines by Konami from 1994 worth?
How much is the Sega Genesis game Castlevania: Bloodlines by Konami from 1994 worth?
That depends.
There are two US editions of Castlevania: Bloodlines for Sega Genesis. The first is in a plastic clamshell case with a color insert, an instruction manual with a color cover, and a red and white registration card. This is the more desirable of the two variants, and if you have it complete, particularly with the registration card, and it's in good shape, with no cracks in the case, tears in the manual, plastic hang tag is intact... you're looking at a real value of about $30-$35. You might get more for it if it's in exceptional condition and you provide lots of large, clear pictures. Note that the black plastic clamshell case for Konami's games on Genesis were different from those of other games. They have a raised Konami logo in the plastic inside the box. Look for this if you want to make sure your case hasn't been replaced. Of course if it's brand new and sealed in plastic, all bets are off on the value.
The second edition was in a cardboard box, had a black and white cover on the manual, and flimsier paper for the cartridge label, things like that. This version won't sell for $15 with shipping on eBay.
