How much is Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 for the PS2 worth

I have a copy of Marvel Vs Capcom 2 (for playstation 2) and I was told it is rare. Anyone have an idea how much it is worth?

Please post more details as to what its condition is. Does it come with the box, or perhaps it is even sealed? Does the CD have scratches on it?

I have the box and the CD is in good shape (no major scratches) and I know it works

You are indeed correct that Marvel Vs Capcom 2 for the PS2 is relatively rare (Compared to other Ps2 games). Not that hard to get, but still has a good collectible value. This is due to Capcom losing the Marvel license which resulted in a limited print run.

This game is actually listed in our PS2 rarity guide with a rarity of 47% (Scarce) and a price of $60 complete in box. Several months ago though it had a higher rarity rating with a price of like $150! This is because it used to be harder to find, but now suddenly there is an influx of these games into the market. Could be because of the economic situation and people tending more to sell their collectibles. Unless you need the money now, I would advise you to wait it out a bit till it rises back in value again, perhaps in a few months. Good luck
