Mountain Bike Rally / Speed Racer value?

Picked up a loose cartridge of this last week and wondering if the value stated on the site is realistic. The only other price info I could find was an article on racketboy: Gaming Like It’s 1999 - racketboy.com stating that it can sell for around $200-300. (as opposed to rarityguide's post of $600 loose)

I don't recall seeing this recently on any auction site so I don't know what people are willing to value this as.

$600 does sound a bit high. but $200 sounds too low. I would put the value for it at around $400 to $500.

On the other hand, I haven't seen one of those carts in the online marketplaces for a while now, so who knows

Wow! That's great considering I found it for about 5% of what you're estimating. I think there's only 1 kind of this in existence, but I have not been able to find any photos anywhere of the cart, but just the box. However, the cart pictures of the more common "Mountain Bike Rally" , look similar with the speed racer logo also on the cart, so I feel that it's legit.

My other pride of game collecting is a collection that I found at a resale PC mom and pop store that included a sealed copy of Ultima 3, along with an opened but complete in box Ultima 1, and Ultima 5 a couple years ago. They only wanted $15.00 for all of them. Yoink!
