I used to trade my video games with friends a lot, so I wrote my name on the back of the cartridge with a sharpie on my N64, NES and SNES cartridges.
How much does this affect the value of the cartridge?

Personally, when I buy loose cartridges I mostly bu them for playing so I don't mind any markings that much.
However, if I buying a CIB (Complete in Box) cartridge, then its for collecting purposes and I would care about markings.
Also if it is a very rare cartridge then I would rather it not have any markings on it...
