Congratulations on finding this! It is actually a very rare, very sought after game. depending on the condition, it could be worth around $500 to $600
wow sweet, do you think I should sell it on Ebay or something, or hold on to it?
I would hold on to this treasure if I were you. I estimate that in 5-10 years it will double, if not triple in value.
Of course, if you need money right now then by all means sell it, but if you can affor not to - I would say, keep it
I am looking to purchase this game, I had it for many years but was lost just a year ago, thanks

This is a pretty rare game
If anyone is still looking for a Challenge the Yankees, I have one and I will sell it..Details to follow.
I know of a Challenge the Yankees game that just went for over $1,000.To be certain it was a 1964 version with all the cards present, clean, no fold nor where any discolored or marred in any way. All the other cards, single, double, triple, ground out and flyout cards were there along with 25 blank cards, plus instruction sheet, scorecards, men, dice. And the box was in good shape with not tears or ripped corners. So if you sold this game in this conditionand complete for $650.00 I would say the buyer got a pretty good deal.
For those of you that have or had the game, it is a jewel and will only increase in value.
while at a yard sale this weekend this game, challenge the yankees, was given to me with 48 of the player's cards ( all 25 yankees cards), rules, score cards etc.....
i found the Mickey Mantle card from this game on Ebay today and it's going for 1200.00 unreal......
thanks, sorry for the time in responding but haven't got the hang yet....
