how do you trade platinum pokemon on 1 ds?
There are a few trades in-game that will let you get some good Pokemon, but without another DS that has Pokemon, no trade evolutions can really be triggered. It is also possible to do trades over the GTS in Jubilife City, but that is limited to the Pokemon you have seen.
To do an in-game trade, simply have the Pokemon the person is looking for in your party and they will ask if you want to trade it for their Pokemon. Agree and the trade sequence will start.
