Only these Pokemon can have the Pickup ability. Just keep catching them until you get one that has it. It is recommended to get it to level 100, so it has full access to its potential items.
Meowth, Aipom, Ambipom, Teddiursa, Phanpy, Zigzagoon, Linoone, Pachirisu, Munchlax.Finally, a new generation of Pokemon for us to enjoy. There is much to look forward to in 2011!
