Pokerus is a virus that ur pokemon can obtain from wild pokemon. It's actually a gud thing. It increases the amount of Exp ur pokemon gains and the ammount of EV (Effort Value or Stats) it gains at each level.

It's just a random thing but the best place to get it is from trading over Wi-Fi

when you get it, keep a pokemon in your party with pokemon you want levelling up faster, and then also a pokemon you dont need, and then put the one you dont need in your PC and keep it forever, just incase your pokerus is cured on your party pokemon, then spread it again.
