I'm workin on this right now but I can help you with this. Max out Riolu's happiness by using berries, feeding it food it likes, giving it massages, puting it in contests, and using the soothe bell. Once it's about lvl 25-30 put it in battle and use the soothe bell. When it lvls happiness increases by 6. Same with food and massages when it's equipped with the soothe bell. Once it has max happiness, lvl it up during the day and it evolves into Lucario. Daytime is between 4am and 8pm

if i do all this how long does it take for riolu to evolve

if it's still during daytime maybe like 2 hrs after hatchin the egg

is there any other way to get Riolu, or is it a single pokemon only by egg from Iron island place?

Either from Iron Island or GTS but you have to get the one from Iron Island before you can get the one on the GTS.

I got told you can, so im just checking, because i might try and get a ditto

You cant breed Riolu since he is a baby pokemon but you can breed the Lucario instead and I think youll get a riolu egg

Well it depends. If your Lucario is Male you'll get whatever the other pokemon is (except ditto) If it's female and ur starter is now empoleon, u can breed empoleon with it and get riolu. I have 7 riolu from it.
