Could someone possibly give me tips on creating a team for emerald... I really love building teams but I'm not sure what to work on.

Oh how I miss Emerald sometimes.

Anyway, it might depend slightly on what you're building a team for. Battle Frontier, outside tournaments, etc. Personally I never did any tournament battling, so I've always relegated myself to Battle Frontier events. Although if you could provide a bit more for me to go on, I might be able to give slightly more advice out.

I haven't touched Emerald since I got HG/SS, but I could still give some help regarding some of the Frontier facilities if that's what you're building for. Personally I always did everything under Lv. 50 because I found Open Level more annoying to maintain teams of the same level, and because Lv. 100s were always a killer to raise.

Salamance - Kings Rock
Dragon Claw (might change to dragon breath)
Rock Tomb (will be rock slide after I get BP to teach it)

Thunderbolt
Crunch

Blissey - Bright Powder (I think)
Toxic
Minimize
Soft Boiled
Ice Beam
