what is the best rod to use to catch a feebas in pokemon platinum?

This is a tough Pokemon to catch because it only shows in 4 squares of the Fog Room in Mt. Coronet which change EVERYDAY. What I mean by both Panels and squares is the area you can move around on, I guess 4 fishing spots works a little better. You honestly would need to sweep around the area, fishing each possible spot 3-4 times. It would amount to this pattern of action:
Fish (3-4 times), move 1 space, fish (3-4 times), move 1 space.
It's best to use a sweeping pattern going one direction completely, then the other. That would look like this:

\/XXXX<
Remember, fish the ENTIRE LAKE BODY! I seriously mean fish every spot on the lake. You need surf to do it!

Any Rod will work, as this is outside of the normal chances of catching something.
