    There are essentially 2 resets that can apply here:
    Soft Reset: A method of resetting your game without turning the DS's power off. Very useful for a quick undo.

    Hard Reset: Done by turning your DS off then back on.

    Format Cartridge Memory: Save this only when you confirm either your file is corrupted or when you want to just start fresh. To do this, press Up+Select+B on the Title Screen. It will offer a few chances to confirm this choice. Remember this erases everything.
    Finally, a new generation of Pokemon for us to enjoy. There is much to look forward to in 2011!
