Battletoads was a hard game
bionic commando was a really hard game
I don't think I ever played contra without using the konami code
paperboy I think was hard because the object of the game and contols were silly
I never thought mike tyson's punchout was that hard, it's just timing

now what about back to the future?
How about skate or die?
And finally… could you ever keep your feet on the power pad for track and field? Really?

Zelda 2 is hard as hell, but the hardest game I have ever played is Smurf: Rescue in Gargamel's Castle for the 2600. I cant get past the first jump.

Deadly Towers was the hardest game I ever played. I hated myself for continually trying to beat it.

Maybe it's just cause I was 13 and didn't know any better, but Time Lord killed me every time. I think it is the only game I have ever owned that no one I know could beat.

Double Dragon 3 was stupid hard too. And what about Shadow Gate?? Mega Man 2 made me cry

I can't beat level 3 in battletoads either and I always had a hard time bayou Billy and Ninja Trutles!!!

Contra became easy once you learned the game...eventually you don't need the code. Takes practice though.

Bionic Commando was a blast. Love to beat that game. Played it last week. Was not that difficult to me. Especially since the original storyline of the game was intended to be where you fight the Nazis and a resurrected Hilter. Personal favorite.

As for the other three.......
MTPO-Gave up..Don't have the patience for that one
Battletoads-Horribly difficult in my opinion...Gave up
Paperboy-THAT GAME COULD BE BEATEN?

traded off spyhunter cuz i could never get past the boat

burned top gun cause i couldnt land the damn plane


but likewise battletoads was a pain
