New Forums feature: Tags and Tagging

We have introduced a new feature to the Forums: Tags.

Tags are a popular way to organize stuff in this Web 2.0 world.

How tags work:

When you write a new thread, You can optionally specify up to 5 tags in the Tags field. separate tags by using a comma. So for example, in a thread discussing the value of the Adventure game for an Atari 2600, one possible set of tags could be:

Atari 2600,adventure

Also, you may add 2 tags to any thread (even if you did not start it) to help categorize the thread. Just find the Edit Tags on the bottom of the thread.

A thread may have up to a total of 25 tags added to it.

Please only add relevant tags. Irrelevant tags will be removed, and those found to excessively post pointless, inappropriate, or non related tags will have their tagging privileges revoked.

If a thread has tags, there will be a tag icon to the right of the thread title when viewing the forum. You can hover on the icon to see the tags.

Morever, tags will generate a Tag Cloud which can be accessed under "Search-->Tag Search" or by going to this page

Tags that have more threads to them will appear larger. You can click on any tag in the Tag Cloud to search for all threads carrying that tag, or you can search directly for any tag.
