Angel Deck

Challenge is to build an Angels deck this means 85% must be Angels. Curious if it can be done or not.

I'm not far enough into magic to be making a deck, because I don't feel like I know enough about it yet.

Format is Legacy or Standard (Standard being the tough one).

I assume by "85% Angels" you mean "85% of the nonlands", otherwise you can only have 9 lands, and that just won't work out.

its not difficult to build an angel deck ther are plenty arround. even in standard. does the deck also have to be competative ?

I found a few angel decks none of which had enough angels for my liking

Can be either Standard, Legacy or Casual.

let me clarify it one more step it it 85% of the non-lands or 85% of the creatures. Because with 24 lands that leaves 36 cards as "non-land". 85% of that is 30.6 so you would need at least 30 angels and only 6 cards to help get them out and/or protect them, whereas if it's 85% of the creatures we have some flexibility to design.

ohh that makes it kind of easy ... heres what i suppose than. its legacy legal. it is definatly a rouge deck and will have a hard time winning a large tournaments but can surely win a small event:

4 x flagstone
4 x ancient tomb
3 x city of traitors
7 x plains

4 x chalice of the void
4 x trinisphere
4 x chrom mox
2 x curcible of worlds
4 x sword of fire and ice

4 x exalted angel
4 x baneslayer angel
4 x voice of all
4 x emeria angel

its kind of a mesh between the classic stompy decks (dragon stopy, faerie stompy) and geddon-stax ... less stack (no sphere of restisance, tangle wire, smoke stacks) more creatures + equip. exile over swords so you can freely set chalice to 1 (something that many decks realy hate and have a hard time handeling). also it does not get in the way of the trinispheer

turn one trinisphee is a double timewalk when you play first:

chrom mox + ancient tomb + trinispheer = force now or die horribly.

you dont have fetches for the emeria angel but you have wasteland, city of traitors and flagston in conjunction with crucible.

Basically you are just stalling until you can win with an angel, which by the way is 100% of your creatures.
