what is a good removal spell for standard?
Depends on the type of removal. Currently the two best exile removal spells are Path to Exile and Oblivion Ring.
Destroy wise... Probably Smother, Doom Blade, and Terminate?
It looks like RoE is going to have some decent removal that may see a lot of play in Standard... I'm not sure though...
sacrifice weise ... gatekeeper and fleshbad marauder ...
journy to nowhere is good too if you only care about creatures (for he remove list)
tendrils of agony, disfigure, maelstrompulse all see lots of play.
ligthning bolt, boutuminous blast and burst lightning can be counted to the removal seppel they all see lots of play too.
agony warp is fantastic but since blue is still soo bad it does not realy see any play.
And of course there is Day of Judgement. Great mass removal.
