Global ‘Magic’ Tournament Coming To Amsterdam, The Netherlands

WHAT: Wizards of the Coast is coming to Amsterdam for the Magic: The Gathering Pro Tour. The world’s best Magic players will be at the Amsterdam Convention Factory from September 3-5 for an exciting three days of all things Magic.

The event is open to the public and Wizards of the Coast invites local fans and friends to experience Pro Tour – Amsterdam by participating in onsite activities including tournaments, game demos, artist signings and Super Friday Night Magic, a great way to spend a Friday night anywhere in the world. Wizards of the Coast will also be hosting two ‘Assault on Mirrodin’ parties—one in Amsterdam and one in Seattle—where attendees will get to view exclusive content from the upcoming Scars of Mirrodin set.

The Magic Pro Tour is the highest form of competitive play for the collectible trading card game with a “main event” that hosts the world’s top players. Side events offer something for everyone who attends, from those new to the game to seasoned players.

Throughout the year, fans of the game participate in local Magic events, such as Friday Night Magic, a weekly tournament that offers a more casual gaming environment for players of all skill levels. Magic also offers multiplayer formats for those looking to compete against a large group of friends.
