whats good deck size for playing casual
I don't like to go over 63 myself, but I've played against 66 and even 200ish card decks that had enough consistency to be nasty. It really depends on the individual deck and what your metagame looks like. Play around with it and find what works for you.
60 cards
I've been playing EDH recently and I don't think I would ever want to run more than 100 because it is a pain in the butt to shuffle.
u can split them in piles then shuffle separately then put them back together
yeah that works but if your pedantic like myself and into math you will never be satisfied since its not sufficant randomisation ... dont forget:
deckshuffeling is far to important to leave it to chance ^^
And in a tournament setting (kind of redundant, considering this is the casual forum, leave me alone), god help you if you try to get away with just a pile shuffle.
Fluttershy is best pony.
I have two casual magic buddies that are perfectly happy playing 75 card decks and they do well with them in very casual environments.
I really prefer to shoot for 60 but occasionally hit up to 65.
