hey seba now that the haloween contest is over how about you post your own haloween themed deck are you up to the challenge

ok will do but give me some time for research i have two general idears both beeing very high on theme and low on playability ^^ i just have to look up all the cards i have in mind.

this much i can tell you one is a very classic halloween theme and the other is called trick or treat and does just that ^^.

ok here is the first one its themeatics mostly come from cardnames and artworks. i tried too keep it all themede but in the end could not quite do it ... so i threw in 4 x pandemonium. no halloween on that card (apart from the fact that it reminds me of a halloween party i was at once). but it still allowes to kill with the eve so i like it. on top of that you can discard kuro to the bloodsucker and then bring him back to clear your opponents board. nothing realy good but ok for some casual games. and if you win you did it with scarecrow and horesmen thats punishment ^^:

4 x Headless Horseman thats the card that came to my mind first when i though about a halloween theme deck. check out the flavour text.
4 x Scarecrow could not find any pumpkin so i settlet on a scarecrow
4 x Ghost Hounds wuff ^^
3 x Blood Moon (8th edition artwork)
4 x Innocent Blood mostly for the artwork but i like the flavour text too
4 x All Hallow's Eve
4 x Stalking Bloodsucker some vampire is needed and i went with him for the artwork
3 x Lyzolda, the Blood Witch you need a witch and she lets us draw into the eve
2 x Kuro, Pitlord very good reanimation target, clears the board after you bring back everything
4 x Pandemonium ok should not realy be in here but some small combo is fun at casual tables ... right ?
4 x Blood Crypt
4 x Bloodstained Mire
12 x Swamp
4 x Mountain

so thats the first one the trick or treat one i will post tomorrow ...

ohh yeah ^^ totaly forgot about that sorry ... its pretty late here so i'll just give you a quick overview.

the trick or treat idear is to play cards that give you opponent a choice ... hence trick or treat or do both give your opponent a treat but also a trick ... some cards i was thinking about were:

Browbeat
Bookburning play on yourself to fill your grave ^^
Measure of Wickedness
Jinxed Idol
Hunted Wumpus
Skyshroud Cutter
Gilded Drake
False Cure
....

no where near a final list but thoses were things i was thinking about ... trick or treat and in some cases trick and treat
