    This is a poll. Please vote and explain if you want.

    What is your main method of getting games?

    There's buying new video games, buying used video games, renting games and trading video games.

    Here are some advantages and disadvantages of each feel free to add your own:

    Buying New Games

    Advantages: Contents are always crisp and shiny
    Disadvantages: Expensive

    Buying Used Games

    Advantages: Cheaper then buying new games and many stores offer warranty
    Disadvantages: Usually has lots of scratches and is in not so great condition as new game

    Renting Games

    Advantages: Very cheap you can play many games for cheap
    Disadvantages: You dont own the game

    Trading Games

    Advantages: This is the cheapest usually
    Disadvantages: You have to give a game to get one.

    I tend to buy used so that I can save money and still own the game.

    Sometimes I buy new, but only when the game is on sale.
    I will never own a PS3

    I'll buy used most of the time, but if there is a very small difference between the new and used version I'll just shell the couple of more bucks and get the new one

    I rent games (vie gamefly, they are similar to netflix but for games)
