    Default New Here!

Hello to all. I am a noobie on this forum. I just purchased a 1947 Chicago Coin Kilroy pinball machine. This is my first pinball purchase ever. I know very little about pinball machines except what I remember from being a kid in the 50's. I paid $200.00 for this machine. (Hope I did not pay too much!) Anyone know the approximate value of this machine? It is complete and works, with a few minor flaws. The back glass is a bit flaked but the play surface is in pretty good shape. Cosmetically, the cabinet is in pretty good shape for the age. A single family owned it for all these years. The coin op works. My plan is to clean it up and get it fully functional. I will post up some pictures when I actually get it home.

    Nice to meet you all!

This is a picture of a similar machine I found on the net. It appears to be the exact machine I bought.

I would say the approximate value of that machine is around $300 to $400

Thank you very much. Are they difficult to repair/expensive?

The machine is complete, with a few minor problems. One is that I will have to replace a solenoid for the left side flipper. Where does one get that part? Is there a source for a parts book for this machine?

I am also looking for a schematic for this machine! Any sources for that?
