    Default Tribunal

    Tribunal 3UU
    Sorcery (rare)

Tribunal can only be played in a game with three players.

Choose an opponent. You and target opponent roll a die. The third player chooses a number greater than 3 and less than 8 before you and your first opponent roll a die. If you rolled a number between 3 and 8, search your library for a card with equal converted mana cost and put it into your hand. If you rolled less than 3, you may not search your library in this manner. If your opponent rolled between 3 and 8, he or she may search his or her library for a card with equal converted mana cost and put it into his or her hand.

My head hurts from all those numbers

Also what kind of die because a regular die doesnt have 7, is it a d20 or d10?

I don't like this one at all. Apart from being way too complicated (I got bored after "greater then 3"), it's never good to have cards that are completely useless in regular two-player games. Even cards with multiplayer obviously in mind (like Blood Tyrant and Imperial Mask) at least have applications in duels.

I don't understand what is so complicated about it but whatever...there are a bunch of cards like this in MTG...like that Homelands sorcery where you have to bet on creatures or some crazy crap...

That's all one action. And it's easy to get - an auction with life for control of a creature? Easy to understand. This just has far too much going on, and now that I've actually bothered to read it all the way through, the payoff just isn't that great anyway.

Also, I believe the reason Unhinged had no die rolling is because the majority of players hated it in Unglued. I also recall a MaRo article explaining a big reason people took WotC's Star Wars TCG poorly was because of all the die rolling. So...yeah.

The sentence " If you rolled less than 3, you may not search your library in this manner" is redundant so you can take it out and be left with

"Choose an opponent. You and target opponent roll a die. The third player chooses a number greater than 3 and less than 8 before you and your first opponent roll a die. If you rolled a number between 3 and 8, search your library for a card with equal converted mana cost and put it into your hand. Also what does "equal converted mana cost" refer to? Is it to the number the 3rd player chose or equal to the number you rolled?

I guess "search you library for a card with this converted mana cost..."

Really complicated with little to no pay off. And costs alot for possibly giving your opponent a powerful creature.
