Don't take it the wrong way...just an easy way to get around those kinda cards...an easy idea...there are so many artifacts that are pretty straight up like this anyway...

neat little tool. wording could use some straightening up. either "prevent all damage" or "reduce all damage to 0".
also the card does deserve a power boost. first off it can be a good portion cheaper and not be overpowered. i'd say 4 or even 3 would make it just fine. also you could increase the range of cards it will effect a little. you could add draw phase for stuff like underwolrd dreams. you could even go as far as to make it "all damage dealt by permanents in any phase othere than the main phase is reduced to 0". makeing it onesided "damage permantens an opponent controls deal during the upkeep is prevented" would actualy probably weeken it because you can not build arround it so well to offset disadvantages of your cards.
all in all a nice idea.

ohh prevent all damage from lands ? thats quite a diffrent card now ^^. very good though. shuts down not just things like barbarian ring but more importantly manlands. that is relevant, especialy for legacy. with worldwake it woul be relevant may be even for standard and a lot more often in casual. also it offsets the drawback of painland (note not the lifeloss from fetchlands). very nice. i would actualy play it in legacy stax as a sideboard card to beat landstill, loam and pox and outwin vs. land-deck post board.
that card would see play both in casual and competative play. cost seems fine at 4.
