yes thats what I had in mind when I designed it

but I made it more expensive and less P/T because it's red so its not supposed to be good on nonland mana generation

It's seldom interesting to see a rehashed card especially if the the original is already good enough - and in this case, more than good enough. And even more so if the rehash is just a recoloration of the original.

If you're a red mage, try to create something red that is original.

What guy said. In addition, try to find some way of making it red. This isn't how red generates mana. Red trades resources for a quick burst of mana. If this sacrifice Mountains to add mana, for example, that would be red.

(I made it "Untapped" mountains because otherwise you could get RRR for every mountain and it might be too powerful)

You could lose the "untapped" part and just make it add R for each Mountain sacrificed. It's cleaner and in 90% of cases it would have the same effect.

I'd change the cost to 2R as well. You're most likely going to be playing it in monored anyway, and it just looks better.
