in magic what happens if a creature with mind control gets exiled and returns to the battlefield?

Depends on what exactly is doing the exiling/returning.

if you mean the mind control enchantment, when exiled the enchantment will go to graveyard and i think the creature will then come back under owners control unless card says otherwise
