Cauldron Haze persist manland magic

what happens when you give a manland persist (for example with Cauldron Haze) because when it goes to graveyard it stops being a creature so will it sill come back to the battlefield and what happens to the -1/-1 counter?

It'll come back to play as a regular land with a -1/-1 counter on it.
