    Default is annihilator optional magic annihilator faq

    is annihilator optional because I want to do annihilator deck and I dont want to win too quickly i wanna torture my friend a bit before I win so can I decide to not activate the annihilator when i attack or to have him sacrifice less then it says?

    No, annihilator isn't optional. The defending player always has to sacrifice the right number of permanents.
