Path to Exile on the Stack...

Just a couple questions about Path to Exile and how it can be used on the stack...



1. Can I Path to Exile Emrakul when he is on the stack (that is, when he is first put into play)

2. Can I Path to exile Iona, Shield of Emeria When she is on the stack, and her ability hasn't resolved yet?

3. If someone plays a Gatekeeper of Malikar and kicks it, making me sacrifice a creature, can I Path to exile it on the stack, if not does the sacrifice creature ability still resolve?

4. Kinda off subject, but when someone attacks you, and you decide to take the damage, then in response they play an instant (for example primal bellow, or overrun), can you decide to block as a response to the instant, or are you stuck taking the damage?

For the first three, no. Path can only target a creature, and creatures only exist in play. On the stack, they're creature spells.

4. Once you're past the declare blockers step, that's it, you can't back up and change your mind.

Also note that Overrun is a sorcery.
