if i have angel's feather in play and other player has darkest hour in play and someone casts a white creature spell do i gain a life?

Actually, just playing the Serra normally under a Darkest Hour will trigger the Undercurrents (so will Flickering it).

but didnt you say it only becomes black after it hit play, so when it first entered the battlefield (before the flicker) it was still white?
